Mo Fan Posted May 28, 2021 Report Share Posted May 28, 2021 Geffen Magic Tournament A great way to get stronger in Arunafeltz RO is the Geffen Magic Tournament where you can get strong equipment, cards and even 3rd job costumes which will be discussed further down this guide Note1: You can not reenter this instance if you happen to exit this instance before the instance is done (e.g. disconnected, died then respawn). It is suggested to bring a Token of Siegfried in case you die in the middle of the instance. Note2: All tournament's monsters in this instance are Demi-Human only, and have Neutral, Ghost, and Earth elements. Note3: This instance dungeon can only be entered by a solo party. Note4: Don't forget to talk to Emmitt White after exiting the instance to start the instance cooldown timer. Talk to the Instance Manager in veil town @warp veil 85 84 to warp at the instance entrance. Talk to Emmitt White /navi dali 98/141 in Dimensional Gap to start the quest. When the instance is ready, click on Dimensional Device and select Enter. You have 2 hours to complete this instance. You can pick up Special Buffs by helping out geffen residents (this also determines which Geffen Resident you fight in the tournament) Purple Geffen Bully Increases magic damage Red Geffen Gang Member Receive reduced damage Yellow Geffen Shoplifter Increase physical damage 3. Talk to the Receptionist (@gef 122,58) in the south area, to register for participation in the tournament. Notes Each round has a time limit of 3 minutes except for Fenrir whose timeframe is 5 minutes. You will be rewarded with Geffen Magic Contest Coins for winning each round. Talk with the Healer after each round to fully restore your HP/SP. Every opponent is a Demi-Human. They are usually Neutral but prepare for Earth and Ghost too. The skills below cannot be used during the duels: Abracadabra Dimension Door Expulsion Ice Wall Ignorance Intimidate Spider Web Teleport Thorn Trap Vacuum Extreme Geffen Opponents and Coin Rewards Tips on Interesting Tournament Opponents Blut Hase has ghost property. Use ghost property attacks or any non neutral/poison attack. Use converters or Cursed Water. Kuro Akuma can turn invisible. Use sight/box of sunlight/ maya purple card or any AOE skill to reveal him. Dwigh has ghost property. Use the same strategy with Blut. Fire resistance is recommended but not totally needed. Fay Kanavion has ghost property. Use the same strategy with Blut. Fay can break your weapons. Use a FCP scroll or Weapon Repair (obtainable from the cash shop or with event tickets). You can also use a golem card to save on costs. Fenrir has ghost property. Use the same strategy with Blut. Has lots of HP and damage so will need good gear and damage or kiting with the stairs Can cast Earth Strain has a chance of striping enemies from their weapon, headgear, armor, shield and accessory.
