Defense

  • Defense cap have been increase up to 1,000 and reworked major aspects on how it affects damage to scale properly with the new defense limit (Somewhat like renewal mechanics).

Hard DEF (Armor Defense)

~ Damage after Hard DEF = Damage × [(4000 + HardDEF) ÷ (4000 + HardDEF × 10)]
~ For example, a player with a Hard DEF of 275 will have incoming damage reduced by about ⅓, and a player with a Hard DEF of 500 will have incoming damage reduced by half.

Soft DEF (Vit Defense)

  • Players can get these from VIT and some skills and reduces damage by subracting final damage with Soft DEF. Still works like pre-renewal mechanics, I just put it here for addition information for those who don't like to search on Wikipedia's.
  • Armor DEF Refine Bonus

Refining armor type equipments starting from +11 gives **+7 HARD DEF bonus** (Old value +6)

  • Thanatos Effect (DEF Reversal / Occult Impaction)** rework, Deals more damage depending on enemies Total DEF. (50 + (Total DEF / 4))= % Damage on this formula the base damage percentage a thanatos user will get is 50% of their original damage if the Total Defense is near Zero (low def) and enemy need around to be 200 Total DEF for thanatos users to reach 100% damage (0% gain) and thanatos users will benefit to more damage multiplier above 200 Total DEF.
