Without further ado, I formally present my earliest works so far. The link contains 3 grfs in separate folders namely BasicGray, Arukemon(pokemap) , and OctaV2. Instructions: 1. before proceeding, kindly make a copy of the original data.ini and plugin.ini to easily revert back to vanilla settings. 2. copy contents of desired grf (data.ini, plugin.ini and the grf file) and paste in Aruna Directory. 3. overwrite or replace the necessary files when prompted. 4. boom, ready to play! all 3 grfs share the same features: - custom in-house textures - enlarged MVPs (element color coded) - enlarged cards - status icon edits - simplified effects (aoe effects removed and replaced by lgp) - more visible (i think) shadows and portals when effects are off - floating emperium - mini map guide - some Aruna mods special feature: - for Arukemon, the following pet sprites were replaced with pokemons with their sound effects (might update and add more in the future): - hodremlin = pikachu - smokie = squirtle - imp = charmander - gremlin = bulbasaur Have fun and enjoy! PS: as of posting, the grfs were tested working prior to the server downtime (6/12/2022). kindly report any errors and/or missing files in-game. Gaming Device: PC ISP: Converge Location: Urdaneta, Pangasinan, PH Proxy Used: SG1, SG2, PH1, HK1 Remarks: reduced lag, but still present in any of the proxies, especially with effects on (effects disabled via grf to allow devotion line visibility). stop motion walking (brief delay at clicked cell when walking/moving). delay with loading after ecall. with effects off, only the walking issue is persistent. difficulty logging in when woe time approaches. edit: been observing this - whenever i switch accounts with the same client, it always fails to login. i need to restart the client in order to switch accounts.

This guide is for players with PC hardware that uses a discrete GPU which is not natively enabled in the setup.exe. If you are wondering which resources of your hardware are used when playing, try opening Taskbar Manager and see if you GPU is being used when playing RO. You can also simply check by opening your setup if your GPU is among the choices from the dropdown menu. Basically if your setup.exe looks like this: Then this guide might be helpful to utilize your hardware better and free up precious CPU processes when opening up other programs/windows (X.X) 1. First thing you need to do is open up the software manager for your GPU (for mine, I'm using NVIDIA Control Panel) 2. Second is to "add" the Ragnarok.exe (ArunafeltzRO.exe) to use the GPU by clicking the "Program Setting" menu: 3. Click the "add" button: 4. Then browse the ArunaRO folder for the "ArunafeltzRO.exe" 5. Next, proceed to the 2nd step and replace "Integrated Graphics" into "High-performance NVIDIA processor" 5a. from this: 5b to this: and just click the "Apply" button on the lower right side of the control panel window. 6. Repeat steps 1-5 for "Setup.exe". 7. Lastly, run/open "Setup.exe" as admin and pretty much you will now be able to choose your dedicated GPU to run ArunafeltzRO. (You can choose either "HAL" or "TnL HAL" option. Tried both and haven't seen any difference) Now, your CPU can breath easier since the dedicated GPU is now doing part of the labor when playing.
